Make Your Sims More Diverse With the LGBT Mod!

Hello, fellow simmers! I must admit that The Sims 4 has pretty diverse options for us to create our Sims, but not enough, in my opinion. To fix this and bring a bunch of sexual and gender identities, today I present you with the LGBT Mod!

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO? It adds new traits, buffs, interactions, events, and holiday traditions, all related to the LGBTQIA+ community, to The Sims 4. Features When you first add a sexuality/gender trait to your Sim, they will also receive an In The Closet trait. This trait will prevent Homophobic/Transphobic Sims (from the optional file in this mod) from getting uncomfortable around the closeted Sim. Traits - Ally - Aromantic - Asexual - Bisexual - Demisexual - Gay - Gender Fluid - Lesbian - LGBT Activist - Non-Binary - Pansexual - Transgender - Drag Queen/King - Questioning From the optional file - Homophobic - Transphobic Interactions This mod adds a new pie menu called LGBT Mod. All LGBT sims can use the following: - Ask About Sexuality/Identity - Ask About Pronouns - Get Excited About Pride - Encourage to Come Out - Come out as... - Discuss Current LGBT Issues - Ask to Donate to LGBT Charity - Recall Encounter with Homophobic Sim - Encourage to Be Open-Minded Computer Interactions - Research About LGBT Community - Write An Article About LGBT Rights And more! Results from those interactions vary depending on the relationship level between Sims. Some interactions will give Sims new buffs and moodlets. Each trait also has its exclusive social interactions, and some may only appear after some time of conversation. Social Events LGBT Meetup Invite all your LGBT fellows to a hangout. It's a great way to make new friends! Coming Out Party Come out to your friends and family and get a money reward upon completing the event tasks! LGBT Charity Gala Host a gala event to help raise money for your favorite LGBT charity. Getting gold on this event unlocks a new reward trait, the LGBT Activist (requires City Living for some of the tasks from this event). LGBT Protest Gather your friends to protest for LGBT rights! Invite them to a lot, and then click on a Sim → Friendly → Political Career → Ask to Join Protest to start protesting (requires City Living)! Drag Show Host a show, get some money, and receive the reward trait Drag Queen/King upon completing this event! Lot Traits LGBT Hot Spot Spawns LGBT Sims in your lot. Gay Hot Spot Spawns gay Sims in your lot. Lesbian Hot Spot Spawns lesbian Sims in your lot. Holiday Traditions Pride Spirit Complete this holiday tradition by using LGBT interactions with your fellow Sims. Aspirations LGBT Activist This aspiration is for Sims who want to advocate for LGBT rights around the community (requires City Living and Get Famous). Optional Files The Homophobia file is included by default, and you can get rid of it if you want to. The LGBT Protest Signs Override file is also optional. This file will replace all protest signs with Simlish signs protesting for LGBT rights. HOW DO I USE IT? 1. To give/remove LGBT traits, simply click on a Sim → LGBT Mod → Settings. There you will find the options to Set Gender As..., Set Sexuality As..., Set Other Traits..., and Remove All LGBT Mod Traits.
